ZitatSENOR RETIRED TO STUD
Tuesday, April 5th (2011)

Word from down under is that the brilliant racer El Grand Senor has been
retired to stud after failing to recover from his latest injury.
Picking up a serious injury late last year, El Grand Senor was being aimed
at the very valuable Golden Easter Egg. However time ran out and trainer
Carolyne Jones made the decision to retire the dog.
During a glittering career El Grand Senor won almost half a million dollars
for connections
, including victories in the  Melbourne Cup and Topgun
which earned him the Victorian Greyhound of the Year accolade. He will
now stand for $2,000 with Carolyne Jones in Sale.

....

OTHER IRISH SUCCESSES
Friday, April 9th (2011)

That victory for Cosmic Rumble in Australia's richest ever race, the Golden
Easter Egg in Wentworth Park last weekend, set me thinking about other
Irish sires that have thrown Group winners down under.
With the help of my good friend Peter Pearson we came up an impressive
list that reads as follows:
2008 – Eloise Odette (by Southern Champ), Paddy's Flame (Larkhill Jo).
2009 – Amity Bale (Sonic Flight), Bo Frazier (Spiral Nikita), Bordain
(Premier Fantasy), Digital Magic (Digital), Dyna Forte (Droopys Maldini),
Jarvis Bale (Sonic Flight).
2010 – Flash Of Light (Premier Fantasy), Jarvis Bale (Sonic Flight), Ultra
Rumble (Spiral Nikita).
Quite an impressive list you will agree!

also hab ich mal nachgeschaut, was in Australiens teuerstem Rennen so an
Preisgeldern (AUD) zu gewinnen war .....

erneuert. Leider ist da wohl einiges an älteren Dokumenten nicht mehr
übernommen worden, kann es jedenfalls nicht finden.
