We are receiving enquiries about the walk a mile for innocence as many people have not seen it, please read it, it will break your heart.

Walk a Mile Barefoot. Walk for Innocence.

On Sunday 9th March we posted an appeal for help on our Facebook page for a filly foal that was down. Many people responded, many arrived to help, many hearts were broken at the sight they saw. Many people, for the first time, saw what is happening in this county and in this country and were shocked and saddened. Many were angry and upset. Many were furious at the plight of this little horse and everyone there did the best they could to save the life of this little girl. Sadly, although much help was given, including a vet in attendance, horse blankets and comfort, it was too late. At approximately 1.00 in the morning this little foal died and the death of innocence was born. If you are angry and upset this is your chance to do something. Your chance to have your voice and presence felt. The animals cannot speak for themselves but we can and will. So this is what we and you are going to do...
Walk a Mile Barefoot. Walk a Mile for Innocence

This event is special. It is such a simple idea, as many of the best ideas are. All you have to do is walk one mile in your bare feet. Hang on, I hear you say, in my bare feet? Well yes, because animals walk on their bare pads, and this is a powerful statement. It is a powerful way of showing your support for animals in need, for animals left to die in a field, starved to the point of death. It is too late for that little horse, the horse without a name, so let's call her Innocence, and let us make sure that her death was not in vain. Be the voice of animals; so many are dying, not just horses but dogs and cats too. Will you walk a mile for Innocence? We know that your voice and ours, combined with the Barefoot Walk for Innocence, the innocence of ALL animals, will raise awareness of the plight of abandoned, abused and left to die animals. Not just in this county but throughout the entire country.This is why it is SO IMPORTANT that as many people as possible sign up and walk. We are the voice of animals, you are the voice of animals, so LOUD AND CLEAR, enough is enough.
